NFL Week 10 2017 Bookie Betting Report

Even with a slight lean towards the favorites last week in the NFL, local bookies all across the nation remained in the black with a couple a key upsets against the spread going in their favor as well as the edge leaning toward the UNDER bet on the total line.
This week’s betting action starts out on Thursday night with a NFC West tilt between the 5-3 Seattle Seahawks and the 4-4 Arizona Cardinals. The Seahawks come in as 5.5-point road favorites with the total set at 41.5 points for this 8:25 p.m. (ET) start on NBC. They have a 4-1 edge ATS in their last five road games against their division rivals.
Sunday’s early action gets things going with the 6-2 Minnesota Vikings going on the road to face the 4-4 Washington Redskins as slight one-point favorites. The total line for this NFC clash is set at 42.5 points. The Vikings are coming off a bye and the Redskins are coming off a huge upset of Seattle as eight-point road underdogs to produce one of the biggest winners for private bookies last Sunday.
Green Bay is 4-4 SU (3-5 ATS) and it will try and snap a three-game slide (SU and ATS) as a five-point road underdog against the 3-5 Chicago Bears, who have covered in their last four games. The total for this NFC North matchup has been set at 38 and it has gone OVER in four of the last five meetings in Chicago.
A few of the other conference matchups at 1 p.m. on Sunday include 6-2 Pittsburgh on the road as a 10.5-point favorite against the 3-6 Indianapolis Colts with a total line of 43.5. The Los Angeles Chargers are 3-5 SU (3-4-1 ATS) on the year and they have been listed as four-point road underdogs against the surprising 5-3 (SU and ATS) Jacksonville Jaguars with the total listed at 41 points. Finally, 5-3 Tennessee will play host to 3-5 Cincinnati as a 4.5-point favorite and the total for this AFC clash has been set at 40.5 points. Both teams have losing records ATS.
There are three inter-conference matchups at 1 p.m. on Sunday starting with the 4-5 New York Jets on the road against the 2-6 Tampa Bay Buccaneers as 2.5-point favorites with a total line of 41.5. The Jets have been one of the best betting teams this season at 6-2-1 ATS, while the Bucs have gone a costly 1-6-1 ATS in their first eight games.
The New Orleans Saints will try and extend their SU six-game winning streak as 2.5-point road favorites against the 5-3 Buffalo Bills. The total for that game is set at 46.5 points. Cleveland is still looking for its first SU win of the year and it heads into Detroit this Sunday as a 13-point underdog. The Lions are 4-4 (SU and ATS) and the total for this game has been set at 43.5.
The 3-5 Houston Texans will go on the road to face the 6-2 Los Angeles Rams as 11.5-point underdogs to kick off Sunday’s late games. Two teams with one combined win in 17 games face one another when the 1-7 New York Giants head west to face the 0-9 San Francisco 49ers as one-point road favorites.
The featured matchup on FOX in a 4:25 p.m. start pits the 5-3 Dallas Cowboys against the fading 4-4 Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta (2-6 ATS) is a three-point home favorite in this NFC showdown and the total has been set at 50.5. The total has gone OVER in four of the past five meetings in this matchup.
Sunday Night Football offers up an AFC battle between the 6-2 New England Patriots and the 3-5 Denver Broncos at 8:30 p.m. on NBC. New England is favored by 7.5 points on the road and the total is set at 46.5 points.
In an 8:30 p.m. start on ESPN, Monday night’s matchup pits the 4-4 Miami Dolphins on the road as 10-point underdogs against the 6-3 Carolina Panthers with the total line set at 39.5.
