NFL Week 2 2017 Bookie Betting Report

One of the top matchups in Sunday’s early schedule is an inter-conference tilt between Philadelphia and Kansas City with the Chiefs set as 4.5-point home favorites and the total set at 47.5 points. Kansas City made the most money for bookies last week with a stunning SU upset over New England on the road; however the early betting consensus in this matchup is leaning towards the Eagles.
In other early games, Buffalo goes on the road as a seven-point underdog against Carolina, Arizona heads into Indianapolis as a 7.5-point favorite and New England will try and right the ship as a 6.5-point favorite on the road against New Orleans. The early consensus for all three of these games is a lean towards the favorites.
The top matchup on Sunday’s late afternoon slate is another big inter-conference battle between the NFC East and the AFC West with Dallas going on the road to Denver as a slight two-point favorite.
The total line for this game has been set at 42. The Cowboys easily covered as favorites last week against the rival New York Giants, while the Broncos closed out Week 1 on Monday night with a PUSH against the Los Angeles Chargers as three-point favorites at home. This could be a good chance for local bookies to make some money on the home-town team.
Other matchups on the board feature Miami making its season debut against the Chargers as a 4.5-point road underdog with the total set at 45. The New York Jets are on the road against Oakland as heavy 13.5-point underdogs, while the Los Angeles Rams play host to Washington as 2.5-point favorites.
The final late game of the day is a NFC West tilt between San Francisco and Seattle with the Seahawks listed as 13.5-point favorites at home. The total line for that contest has been set at 43.

Week 2 closes things out with the Detroit Lions taking on the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. The Lions hammered Arizona last week as slight 2.5-point home underdogs and they head into MetLife Stadium as 3.5-point underdogs on the road.
New York will be looking to bounce back was last Sunday night’s dismal showing against Dallas in which it failed to cover as six-point underdogs on the road. The total line for this game has been set at 43.5 points.
