NFL Week 4 2017 Bookie Betting Report

A classic NFC North showdown between the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers gets things started on Thursday night at Lambeau field in an 8:25 p.m. (ET) kickoff on CBS. The 2-1 Packers are listed as seven-point home favorites with the total set at 45.5 points. Green Bay is 4-2 ATS in its last six home games against the Bears.
For the second-straight Sunday, the NFL will kick things off in London in a 9:30 a.m. start at Wembley Stadium with the 1-2 New Orleans Saints taking on the 1-1 Miami Dolphins. The Saints have been opened as 2.5-point favorites and the betting line for the total has been set at 49.
One of the best matchups in Sunday’s early 1 p.m. games is an AFC North battle between a pair of 2-1 teams when the Pittsburgh Steelers go on the road as 2.5-point favorites against the Baltimore Ravens. The total for this bitter rivalry has been set at 42.5 points. Baltimore holds a 4-2 edge ATS in its last six home games against the Steelers.
Two other head-to-head division battles on CBS at 1 p.m. includes the other half of the AFC North with 0-3 Cincinnati looking for its first win of the season as a three-point road favorite against 0-3 Cleveland with that total set at 40. Over in the AFC South, 2-1 Tennessee will go on the road as a slight 1.5-point favorite against 1-2 Houston. The total for that game has been set at 43.5 points.
In other early action, 2-1 Carolina is set as an 8.5-point road underdog against 2-1 New England, while 2-1 Buffalo is on the road against the 3-0 Atlanta Falcons as eight-point underdogs. Another one of the bigger spreads for local bookies on Sunday pits the Los Angeles Rams against the Dallas Cowboys as 7.5-point road underdogs in a NFC battle between a pair of 2-1 teams. In an AFC tilt, the 1-2 New York Jets play host to the surprising 2-1 Jacksonville Jaguars as 3.5-point underdogs.
Sunday’s late games feature a big showdown in the AFC West between the Oakland Raiders and the Denver Broncos in a 4:25 p.m. start on CBS. Both teams are coming off a bad loss as favorites to fall to 2-1 on the year and the home-town Broncos are listed as three-point favorites for this matchup with the total set at 46.5 points. Denver is just 3-8 ATS in its last 11 home games against Oakland, but it has a 4-1 SU edge at home over the last five meetings.
Two other matchups scheduled to kickoff at 4:05 p.m. starts with the 0-3 New York Giants trying to end this early skid as three-point road underdogs against 1-1 Tampa Bay with the total set at 43.5 points. The 2-1 Philadelphia Eagles will try and keep the Los Angeles Chargers winless on the year as slight one-point road underdogs in this inter-conference clash. The total for this game is listed at 47.5 points.
Sunday night’s matchup sends the Indianapolis Colts on the road as heavy 13-point underdogs against the Seattle Seahawks in an inter-conference tilt between two 1-2 ball clubs. The total for this 8:30 p.m. start on NBS has been set at 41.5 points.
Week 4 in the NFL closes things out with the most interesting inter-conference matchup on the board when the 2-1 Washington Redskins go on the road to face the 3-0 Kansas City Chiefs in an 8:30 p.m. kickoff on ESPN at Arrowhead. The Chiefs are favored by 6.5 points and the total has been set at 49.5.
