Player Management Tool: Balancing Your Players with Ease

At RealBookies.com, we understand the importance of flexibility and personalized service when managing your players. One of the key advantages of being a local bookie is the ability to offer one-on-one treatment that large platforms simply can’t match. Our Player Management tool allows you to modify player balances seamlessly, ensuring accurate and efficient financial tracking. Let’s go over the different types of transactions you can use to manage your player accounts effectively.

Types of Transactions

1. Receipt

When a player provides you with funds—whether through cash, Venmo, bank transfer, or any other method—you can log the transaction using the Receipt option. Simply enter the amount and, if necessary, add a description for record-keeping. After saving, a confirmation popup will appear, allowing you to verify the details before finalizing the update.

For post-up players, this transaction is essential, as they must provide funds before placing wagers. When their balance is set to roll over, the receipt option becomes available to ensure accurate tracking of their deposits.

2. Disbursement

A Disbursement works similarly to a receipt but records money flowing in the opposite direction—when you pay out a player’s winnings. Just like with receipts, you’ll enter the amount, add a description if needed, and save the transaction to keep your records precise.

3. Free Play

Offering Free Play credits is an excellent way to reward loyal players. These bonuses don’t require a significant cost on your end but can enhance player engagement. You might issue free plays as a thank-you for a deposit, a birthday gift, or a re-engagement incentive for players returning after a break.

The process for issuing free plays is simple: Select the Free Play transaction type, enter the amount, add a description, and save. Free plays are tracked separately in player statistics, ensuring they don’t interfere with your accounting records.

4. Adjustment

Adjustments allow you to correct a player’s weekly balance when necessary. If a player contacted you to place a wager but, for some reason, the transaction wasn’t completed, you can manually adjust their balance to reflect the agreed-upon result.

To adjust, navigate to the Figures section in the left-hand menu, select Weekly Balance, and find the player’s account. If the adjustment reflects a win, enter a positive amount; if it reflects a loss, enter a negative amount. Keep in mind that adjustments should only be used for wagers that were already agreed upon but weren’t recorded in the system. They should not be used for free plays, payments, or credit limit modifications.

5. Accrual Adjustment

An Accrual Adjustment is useful when you need to reset a player’s balance without affecting your overall financial reports. If a player leaves with an outstanding balance, you can use this feature to zero out their account while maintaining the integrity of your records.

If your account is configured to automatically reset balances, receipts and disbursements won’t be available. In that case, an accrual adjustment ensures that the account reflects the necessary changes. By checking the designated box, the adjustment will apply at the beginning of the week; if left unchecked, it will be recorded immediately.
