NFL Week 3 2017 Bookie Betting Report

Week 2 of the new NFL season was a mixed bag for private bookies all across the nation, but the early results through the first two weeks of games should have produced a tidy profit with a couple a big upsets against home-town favorites and a strong betting trend towards the UNDER on the total line.

Week 3 gets underway on Thursday night with a NFC West clash between the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers.

The Rams come into this 8:25 p.m. start on the NFL network as two-point road favorites with the total set at 40. Both teams are 1-1 against the spread this year.

Sunday’s early games kick things off with Baltimore taking on Jacksonville at Wembley Stadium in London at 9:30 a.m.

The Ravens are favored by 3.5 points and the total has been set at 39.5 points. Baltimore is off to a 2-0 start both straight-up and ATS with the total staying UNDER in both games.

If local bookies are looking for a few home teams to make some money on, they have their choice of four teams getting points this week in the 1 p.m. games.

The Chicago Bears will play host to Pittsburgh as seven-point underdogs with the total set at 44.

The New York Jets are still looking for their first victory of the year (SU and ATS) and they are listed as six-point home underdogs against Miami. The total for that AFC East tilt has been set at 42.

Denver is coming off last Sunday’s huge upset against Dallas at home heading into this Sunday’s road game against Buffalo as a three-point favorite. The total has been set at 40 points and while it has gone OVER in the Broncos’ first two games it has stayed UNDER in the Bills first two outings.

The final home dog in the early games is the Detroit Lions getting three points against Atlanta. Both teams are off to a SU 2-0 start to take the early lead in their respective division race. The betting line for the total in this game has been set at 50.
In other early action this Sunday, New England will play host to the Houston Texans as a heavy 13-point favorite with a total line of 44.

Carolina will try and stay perfect on the year SU as a six-point home favorite against the 0-2 New Orleans Saints. The total for this NFC South matchup has been set at 46.5. Over in the NFC East, the New York Giants will be looking for their first win of the year (SU and ATS) as six-point road underdogs against Philadelphia with the total set at 43.

The featured matchup in Sunday’s late afternoon games is an AFC West tilt between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chiefs are fast out of the gate at 2-0 both SU and ATS and they come into this 4:25 p.m. start on CBS as three-point road favorites against 0-2 Chargers.

The total is set at 47.5 points and it has gone OVER in both of Kansas City’s wins and it has stayed UNDER or ended as a PUSH in LA’s first two games.

There is a pair of inter-conference matchups in the late games starting with Seattle going on the road against Tennessee in a 4:05 p.m. kickoff on FOX.

The Titans are listed as three-point home favorites with the betting line on the total set at 42.5 points. In a 4:25 p.m. start on CBS, the Green Bay Packers play host to winless Cincinnati as 8.5-point favorites.

The total for this game has been set at 44.5 points despite the fact that the Bengals have yet to score a touchdown this season.

Sunday night’s game at 8:30 p.m. on NBC pits the Oakland Raiders on the road against Washington as three-point favorites with the total set at 53.5.

Monday Night Football on ESPN at 8:30 p.m. sends Dallas on the road against the Arizona Cardinals as three-point favorites. The total for this NFC tilt has been set at 47.
